1. Prvo papriku i patlidžan ispecite u pećnici te ih očistite od kožice i sjemenki
2. Feferone očistite od koštica te sve zajedno sameljite

3. Na ulju kratko propržite protisnuti češnjak i nakon par minuta dodajte samljevenu smjesu paprike i patlidžana u lonac

4. Kuhajte, uz miješanje, oko 2 do 3 sata. Ukoliko želite biti sigurni da neće doći do kvarenja vaše mukotrpno pripremljene zimnice dodajte malo konzervansa 10 min prije kraja.
5. Sve što trebate je ajvar uliti u sterilizirane staklenke s navojem i hermetički ih zatvoriti. Gotovo!
